Associate Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP Accredited)
Hello, I’m Kulwinder!
I have been working in mental health in IAPT services for 12 years and prior to this I worked as a person-centred counsellor. During my counselling learning I had the opportunity to work in the field of bereavement, adoption, domestic violence of men, and refugees and asylum seekers. I feel as though I am on a constant learning curve and I learn through the patients I tend to work with.
I am passionate and compassionate working with people suffering with mental health difficulties, mainly offering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy support. Whether it is a traumatic event you would like to understand, in the hope to overcome, or struggling in social situations which is impacting on your daily life to difficulties with obsessions and compulsions.
I adhere to the ethical framework of British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the governing body for CBT therapists. I do take pride in the work I do and would want patients I work with to have a lasting impression of the service received, that have a significant improvement to their lives.
